Well, it is finally warming up and it feels like spring, so it was time for a springy background. What a week it has been. We have had a mixture of celebration and sadness. My cousin, Kenny, died very unexpectedly last week and really threw us all for a loop...including the kids. He was a wonderful person that you couldn't help but like. The kids were drawn to him right away, especially Jack. He said Kenny had a "monster truck" and was looking forward to a ride in it. The other night when I was tucking Jack into bed, he asked me if Kenny was in heaven. I told him yes. He looked up to the ceiling and said, "Ni-night Kenny" and blew him a kiss and waved. We have truly felt the loss of his life. Please pray for his family during this unbearable time...especially his 2 young daughters.
On a happy note, DREW TURNED 30!!! His parents came in for the weekend to help us celebrate. Adria and Jane (my sister and her mom) came down Saturday night to help us celebrate and Jane made Drew a beautiful cake. Then, we had dinner for Drew on Sunday night. It was a busy weekend.
