My mom starting buying Gingerbread house kits a few years back and it has been a struggle. The first year, we could not keep the walls and roof together to save our lives!!! Last year was definitely better. We let the frosting sit for a loooooong time and it finally held. This year, we finally wised up...we bought a pre-built house...shhhh, don't tell. It turned out so great and we were able to spend more time decorating instead of worrying that it would fall apart. We were all pretty proud of it this year. I highly recommend the pre-built houses at Target...FYI. =)
