Today was the Mother's Day Tea in Jack's preschool class. This is one of my favorite parts of the year. I have done it twice with Abby but since she is a big first grader, they no longer do it...sniff, sniff. I was able to go to Jack's class for the tea and bring Yaya and G.G. along. He made us wrist corsages out of paper flowers and served us fruit and other treats. His class sang a few songs and he knew every word and every hand motion. Jack gave me the special gifts he'd made for me including a card with his handprints, a potted plant of marigolds, and a special pin. We also went outside and watched the kids release the butterflies that they hatched from caterpillars. What a fun Mommy day :)
