Abby had quite a birthday weekend! Her Papa and Yuyu came to visit from California, along with her Auntie Adie and Auntie Jane. On Friday, her actual birthday, we started with lunch with Daddy at BJ's where she got her own birthday pizookie! Then, she requested that we have Yaya's farfalle with chicken for dinner. She is a noodle girl! We had dinner, followed by presents and funfetti cupcakes that Auntie Jane made for her. She had quite a day!
You will notice in one of the pictures that the kids are overjoyed at the sight of cheese balls. This is sort of a joke at our house because Walmart has a display that goes almost to the ceiling and the kids ask for them ALL THE TIME! Drew and I always say no as the idea of perma-orange fingers is not appealing. Well, as a birthday treat for both kids (and a joke for Dad and Mom), Auntie Jane wrapped them up and gave them to Abby as a present. I think Auntie Adie had a little something to do with it, as well. Drew and I were so thrilled and Drew told the kids to take the tub out to Auntie Adie's car to eat them.
