We have been promising the kids a trip to Pirate's Cove all summer. Pirate's Cove is a little water park in Denver that the kids love! The summer slipped away with all the craziness and we knew we were running out of time since in closes after Labor Day weekend. We decided to squeeze in a trip right before Abby's surgery and spent Saturday at Pirate's Cove. It was a toasty 90 degrees+ so it was the perfect day for it!
Jack was thrilled because he was able to ride in his own innertube on the lazy river. Last year, he had to share with us. One of the kids' favorite things is the giant play structure that looks like a pirate ship. Every few minutes, the huge bucket that sits above the ship will dump water on everyone below. You have a short 1 minute warning with a bell before it dumps. When the kids hear the bell, they go running to stand in the path of the "dump".
Our last summer fun was a blast and because I love my children, I put on a maternity swim suit which I avoid at all costs. Notice, you will not see those pictures here :)
